The upcoming Ballerina Movie will be a curious one for multiple reasons, not the least of which is that this is the first movie in the “World Of John Wick” expansion that Lionsgate has been attempting for a while. A key difference in the film is that the main character is Eve, a ballerina who seeks vengeance for what happened in the past with her father. As the new trailer for the film shows, similar faces and locations will guide her on her path for vengeance, even if it comes with a big cost…going up against John Wick.
Yes, really. Previous trailers showed that Eve would meet John and talk, and most (including myself) thought that this would be the end of their “meeting.” However, this new trailer shows that John Wick is hired to take down Eve for her “transgressions.” You can see the trailer below and watch the Ballerina Movie in theaters on June 6th.
