Arc System Works will be stopping by Evo USA 2025 to give fans a glimpse into what they’re thinking with more Marvel Tokon news. The 4 vs 4 tag fighter will be playable at the major. There will be a panel on Friday, August 1st, at 8:00 p.m. PT.
Game Designer Kazuto “Pachi” Sekine is pretty excited and had this to say to the fans.
This is Sekine, Director of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. I’d like to express our thanks on behalf of the entire development team for the incredible response to the State of Play trailer. The game is still under development, but we’re really looking forward to sharing more in our Evo panel, and especially for fans to try it out for themselves with the very first trial version at the event. My hope is to “Assemble” with all of the players and create an amazing game together. We’re trying out many new things to offer a fresh experience. I can’t wait to hear your feedback and thoughts.”
More screens have been revealed to give a better idea of how the Character Select, Stage Select, and actual HUD appear in battles. A single Health bar seems to be present, unlike other fighting games of the tag sort. The interesting part about this is the fact that there are character designations on the teams. Leader, Shooter, Vertical, and Assault seem to be it here. The usual super meter seems to have a 150 number next to it and split up. The stun gauge(or is it?) is also here and split up as well. And of course, we’re back in New York here – a staple battleground for Marvel Comics. There are some changes, such as Shuma Gorath thinking he can own the place.
Toukon Fighting Souls was revealed not too long ago for the PlayStation State of Play. The Tag Fighter has gained intrigue ever since. This is not the Marvel vs Capcom game we expected.
