Capcom released a trailer to announce their title update for Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The update pertains mostly to Plasma Sword and Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Ingrid, Yun, Eagle, and Maki get to tear it up in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper to match the original PSP edition of the game called Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. Three of these sprites are from Capcom vs SNK 2, which also share similar movesets from that game. Capcom vs SNK 2 brought back Eagle from the original Street Fighter game. He had not been seen in a Street Fighter entry since his debut as a playable character. Saikyo, Mazi, and Classic modes are added to this version, which could alter various properties such as damage per ism and stun gauge length. Both of these character and mode options can be turned off in the EX portion of the settings.
Other updates include Power Stone and Capcom vs SNK 2’s new tracks from the Cap-Jams team. A different version of Esaka(CVS 2) and Londo(Power Stone) stage tracks will be added to their soundtracks. Plasma Sword’s training section will receive a combo path display, which helps with which buttons to press during strings. More Artwork will be added from different artists to celebrate the collection.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is available on PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
