Dragon Ball FighterZ seems to have found the 7th Dragon Ball to get itself back to updates. The game had already made itself a good part of the first ever Evo France major, but its tag fighting reign is far from over. Super Saiyan 4 Goku has entered the fray. At first, this version of Goku was reserved for the non-canon Dragon Ball GT run. However, Dragon Ball Daima brought back this form. Arc System Works has followed suit to bring the show to the game.
Super Saiyan 4 Goku will be joining the roster in Spring 2026. His reveal trailer happened during the Evo France 2025 major last weekend. No official gameplay has been shown. The trailer exclaims that the game is not done yet. The boss Android 21 was last DLC character to join Dragon Ball FighterZ back in 2022.
Dragon Ball FighterZ C-C-Changes
A balance patch has been released for the Dragon Ball FighterZ. Every character has been changed with at least 5 changes per roster member. Even the System has undergone some changes such as cooldowns on certain modes and the like. For instance, the Z-Reflect seem to pull off a Drive Parry feel. Here is some of them through the 1.40 update from Bandai Namco.

Masters Bodoukai
There will be a high level spectacle of an event for the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour on April 18-19, 2026 at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall. Some of the Masters Showdown have some of the best competitors to show face. GO1, Hikari, SonicFox, Wawa, Wade, and Yasha, will be going head-to-head at the show. The qualifiers will also happen here, too.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
