A few weeks ago, it was rumored that EA and Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force were teaming up for some sort of hunting title. Today, the pair have revealed that the rumor is true, with the title being called Wild Hearts.
A premiere for Wild Hearts will be revealed on YouTube on September 28, 2022, at 7 PT / 10 AM ET. You can set a reminder for the premiere so you don’t miss out.
The video description states, “Prepare for an epic adventure set in a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan.” It seems that Koei Tecmo just can’t get away from Japan’s feudal period, as indicated by a number of its games. Jud
However, it’s going to be interesting to see just what this Wild Hearts hunting game is all about, and if the title can manage to carve a space in the genre that Capcom’s Monster Hunter has dominated. Which is easier said than done. Still, if any company can do it, it’s Koei Tecmo.
