Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Arrives On Nintendo Music!

Ready, Captain?

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Nintendo Music

It’s time for a new update on what’s going on with Nintendo Music! The Big N continues to drop full soundtracks on the service, and this time, a surprise hit from recent console eras has arrived via Captain Toad Treasure Tracker! The character has popped up in several Mario games since his arrival, but his main game is proof that you can take an established formula, turn it on its head, and create something unique! With its perspective-based formula, fans got to control Captain Toad and move him through dangerous areas while collecting items and avoiding pitfalls. It sold over a million copies on the Wii U, and then was ported to the Switch, where it sold over 2 million!

Now, though, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is on Nintendo Music, and it adds quite a few tracks for you to listen to:

The question many people have now is whether the game might get a follow-up on the Nintendo Switch 2. Given the game’s overall simplistic stylings and gameplay mechanics, it’s certainly possible!
