First Look At Sonic Mania’s Flying Battery Zone

It seems as of late, we’ve been talking a lot about Sonic Mania. I wonder why that is? Anyway, during yesterday’s SXSW event, SEGA showed a glimpse of the remade/remixed Battery Zone level. Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog will remember this stage from the classic, Sonic & Knuckles.

From what I seem, the level seems to be intact, just a lot cleaner. Which would make sense since this is a remake on more powerful hardware. Hopefully, it retains the old-school 16-bit gameplay that we’ve come to love over the years.

It’s a very short look, but definitely worth a peek.

Sadly, Sonic Mania has been delayed until Summer 2017 and will be released for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
