The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Shown at E3

By Josh PiedraJune 14, 2016

Reggie Fils-Aime opened up Nintendo’s Treehouse conference for E3 and right off the bat they introduced us to a trailer which gave us more insight to the upcoming Legend of Zelda title.  Officially titled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game will be an open world to explore and will contain voice acting! The world is described as seamless when moving from one place to another and will help create an “adventure of a lifetime.”

The land of Hyrule is described to be a resource to the player.  It can also be an ally or an enemy with many places to discover.  The demo at E3 will be a large plateau and it was stated that nobody will be able to explore it all due to its massive size. While the plateau itself is massive, it was stated that it’s only a very small portion of the game, giving us a sense of just how big this world will be.

No release date has been given, but it was stated that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available for Wii and Nintendo NX.  Nintendo NX was previously announced as launching in March of 2017.
