That RWBY hack-n-slash game is now up on Steam Early Access

By Keith MitchellDecember 2, 2015
RWBY

During the 2015 New York Comic Con, I was made aware that the hit Rooster Teeth show, RWBY, was in fact getting it’s own video game. A 4 player co-op hack-n-slash brawler at that, which I thought was pretty darn cool. However it was also made apparent that not many people knew about the game or even the fact that it was in production. When I asked several RWBY fans about it, the response I got was “There’s a RWBY game?”. It really left me scratching my head to say the least.

Yes, there’s a video game for RWBY and it’s called RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. And guess what else? It’s up on Steam Early Access, right now. For $14.99, you’ll get to play with some of your favorite  characters; Ruby, Weiss, Blade and Yang, as you battle your way across different environments.

I haven’t played it yet, but my daughter is a HUGE RWBY fan, so I’m sure as soon as she sees this, she’s going to ask to check it out. So expect early impressions on the game soon.

GAME FEATURES:

  • Online Co-op Multiplayer
  • 4 playable characters with unique skill trees
  • Full story campaign with a NEW storyline
  • MOBA-like leveling during gameplay
  • Several locations from the world of Remnant
  • NEW locations never before seen in the show
  • NEW enemy types
  • NEW villain
  • Loads of unlocks, achievements, and rewards
  • MORE DETAILS COMING SOON!

Curious? Check it out on Steam Early Access here. And if you do happen to try it out and have recommendations or issues, don’t keep it to yourself. Jump on the Steam Community forums and let the devs know, that’s the entire reason games are put onto Early Access, for feedback, yet people seem to forget that.
