Expecting news on the Final Fantasy VII Remake soon? This is something you may not want to hear.
Nobuo Uematsu, famed composer for the Final Fantasy franchise, has confirmed that he’s not working on the upcoming project at all. This news comes from a tweet by Jeuxvideo.com, which roughly translates to:
“Are you working on the remake of FFVII?”
“Not at all.”
Nobuo Uematsu composed the score for the original Final Fantasy VII, as well as many other games in the franchise. Without his involvement, this raises the question of who could be re-orchestrating the score for the remake. Remember, news about the upcoming remake is due sometime this winter, so stay tuned.
