Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2 announced for 2016

By Keith MitchellSeptember 15, 2015

During the 2015 SCEAJ conference that was held today, one of my favorite titles for the PS Vita has not only received an announced remaster but also a sequel. And that game, ladies and gentleman is Gravity Daze / Gravity Rush for those in the NA. First up is the news that the title will in fact receive a remastered version for the PlayStation 4, which will hit the system in Februrary 2016. This is great news as the title was originally rumored to get a remaster a few months ago and then it was just as quickly dismissed as rumor.

Gravity Rush on the big screen.. well big screen TV’s as least!

The Gravity Daze Remaster will also include all three of the released DLC’s, The Spy Pack, The Maid pack and The Military Pack. Don’t know about you but I can’t wait to play this game in the comfort of my home, with the improved 1080p visuals and the bump in frame rate. The remaster will also be handled by Bluepoint Games, the same team that gave us the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, God of War Collection, Titanfall on the Xbox 360 and the upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, so fear not as the title is in good hands.

Also announced is the upcoming sequel, Gravity Daze 2! Yes, we’re getting a sequel, which some suggested may never happen due to the sales as the original game was a PS Vita only exclusive.

Not much is known about the game just yet, but thankfully they did show off a trailer for the title.

Expect to see more of both the remaster and the sequel during the 2015 Tokyo Game Show!
