From enemies-to-lovers dynamics to stories shaped by regression, reincarnation, and transmigration, the catalogue explored romance across a wide range of tones. Rather than limiting the genre to a single formula, Crossed Hearts leaned into its full spectrum, curating stories that were dramatic, tender, chaotic, and deeply character-driven.
Looking ahead to 2026, romance will remain a core pillar of the catalogue, but it will no longer stand alone. The coming year marks a deliberate expansion into a broader range of genres, with action, fantasy, mystery, isekai, thriller, and horror titles joining the lineup alongside continued growth in romance. This expansion reflects an intent to offer readers a more varied reading experience while maintaining the emotional depth that defines the catalogue.
In parallel, Crossed Hearts is deepening its commitment to storytelling through the recent launch of GLAM BEAT!, a new imprint dedicated to yuri (girls’ love), reinforcing its belief in curated reader experiences.
2026 will also introduce a new stream within the program, with Chinese manhua and novels joining the slate. Together, these developments signal a catalogue that continues to evolve, building on the emotional strength of romance while opening into richer, more varied narrative worlds.
