Following the completion of its fourth season today, Kadokawa announced that The Rising of the Shield Hero will be getting a fifth season. A short teaser can be viewed below.
The first season aired Winter 2019 and received a 7.92 score from My Anime List. The second season aired Spring 2022 and received a 6.53 score. The third season aired Fall 2023 and received a 7.10 score. The fourth season aired Summer 2025 and received a 7.08 score. No information on when season five will release has been released.
Kadokawa also announced a game that will be launching on PC and mobile devices.
