Another incredible weekend of fighting game action is in the books, as Evo USA 2025 wrapped up its Las Vegas showcase with intense matches, unexpected upsets, and historic victories. I watched the entire weekend, and damn, the competition fierce across every bracket, with many of the matches being nail-biters and others being examples of total domination.

Below is a breakdown of the main event winners and losers from this year’s Evo USA lineup.

EVO USA 2025 Grand Finals Winners

  • Street Fighter 6 — MenaRD defeated Kakeru
After back-to-back wins in Evo Japan, MenaRD sealed the deal in the USA, taking down Kakeru in a dominant grand finals performance.
  • Tekken 8 — Arslan Ash defeated ATIF
Pakistan’s legendary Arslan Ash proved once again why he’s one of the greatest in the world, overcoming ATIF in an electrifying showdown.
  • Guilty Gear Strive — Kshuewhatdamoo defeated RedDitto
Kshuewhatdamoo delivered a jaw-dropping reset and secured the crown in one of the most unpredictable Guilty Gear brackets to date.
  • Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves — GO13151 defeated ET1120
In the highly anticipated debut tournament for SNK’s latest fighter, GO13151 emerged victorious against seasoned competitor ET1120.
  • Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising — Koujicoco defeated Zane_FGC
Koujicoco once again showed incredible command of the GBVS meta, taking down Zane_FGC with precision and style.
  • Under Night In‑Birth 2 [Sys:Celes] — Defiant_def defeated BigBlack45209
Defiant_def ran the gauntlet in one of the most technically demanding games at Evo, outlasting BigBlack45209 in a thrilling finale.

So, there you have it. Again, this was an amazing event, and everyone who competed gave the world some amazing fights, regardless of whether they won or lost. I’ll be honest, it made me want to break out my fight stick and dive back into the world of fighting games.

But this wasn’t all, as we had a few surprise announcements and reveals, which you can see below.
