Doug Bowser Confirms That Plans To Prevent Nintendo Switch 2 Shortages Have Rolled Out

The plan is rolling out as we speak!

Nintendo Switch 2

Even with all the issues and “controversies” that are surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 (some of which aren’t Nintendo’s fault, to be clear, and others we covered on NEP!), the system is still the most talked about thing in gaming right now. Many are already locking their pre-orders in and want to know more about the system’s gaming lineup as soon as possible. However, as history has already shown us, the biggest problem might just be getting our hands on the bloody thing! If you recall, the OG Switch launch year had plenty of shortages due to unexpected demand.

Naturally, with the Nintendo Switch 2 being more hyped, players will definitely want to jump in on day one and get their system ASAP. Thankfully, in an interview with CNBC, Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser admitted that the team had prepped the global supply and that they’ve already been shipped out:

“That’s correct, that’s correct. And we’ve had some time to build up inventories on a global basis. They’ve even landed already in some places in the United States.”

This will bring some peace to gamers, while others will now worry about the scalping market more than ever. Only time (and pre-orders) will tell what happens next!
