Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals “Khaos Reigns” Expansion and Second Kombat Pack Fighters

There will be blood.

Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 is getting ready to celebrate its one-year anniversary, and the team over at NetherRealm Studios has decided that they’re going to do it in a big way. At San Diego Comic-Con, NetherRealm Studios dropped tons of new information about the game and what was to come with it. In a five-minute trailer, they revealed the story expansion “Khaos Reigns.” In it, we see a new version of Havik, who is bent on bringing true anarchy to the realms by destroying all who get in his way.

This prompts new versions of familiar fighters to arrive, including female versions of Cyrax and Sektor, alongside a twisted new version of Noob Saibot. Things are indeed going to get bloody. Then, at the end of the video, got confirmation about the three special Kombatants that’ll drop in the second Kombat Pack. Ghostface, the T-1000 Terminator, and the one and only…Conan The Barbarian. Oh, and did we mention Animalities are back?

The Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns event and Kombat Pack 2 arrive on September 24th!
