During the Blue Exorcist event at this year’s Anime Expo, a new trailer was revealed for the Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga anime. In addition, they confirmed that the smartphone game Alterna Velvet -Blue Exorcist Another Story- will receive an English release!
Below is the trailer for the Beyond the Snow anime:
The anime is set for two cours and will be split into two parts. The first part is the aforementioned title while part two will be titled Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga.
Beyond the Snow Saga is scheduled to air in October 2024 while The Blue Night Saga is scheduled to air in January 2025. Both are slated to stream on Crunchyroll.
As for the smartphone game, the English version is slated for a release this summer but an exact date isn’t yet known. It will release on Android and iOS platforms and pre-registration is available right now!
The game is a 3D action RPG and is described as follows:
The protagonist is an ordinary exorcist stationed at the Japanese branch of the Knights of the True Cross. They are assigned to the newly founded Special Investigations Unit and meet their partner, Adori Kureha. They will meet the other quirky members of the SIU and investigate the Hyakusai Pagoda Fire and demons of the Koreiga appearing in the city…
