Final Fantasy VII Remake Might Have Third Part Release In 2027

Final Fantasy VII remake release date -01

The tale of Final Fantasy VII Remake and its subsequent parts is fascinating to dive into. It was announced WAY ahead of its release date in 2020 and had to go through a few overhauls to get done, but they did it, and the results were great. More recently, they released the second part of the remake saga via Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and it was praised for its incredible gameplay, story, visuals, and everything in between. Still, the story is not complete, and the third part is in the works right now. So, when is it coming out?

Well, in a special interview that was translated on Twitter, the third part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake is not only on schedule, it’s much farther along than we think:

FF7 Remake Part 3 main story has already been completed, and Nomura thinks they will perhaps start voice recording in the near future.

First and foremost, the story is already written, which isn’t surprising given that they had to break the classic story into three parts and know where to stop each time. That means they’ll get into the VO booth soon to record the lines. Another thing that’s allowing development to go faster is that they’ve kept the team from Rebirth to this new entry, and that means that there’s less “catching up” to do with the newer members.

As such, the team feels they could be done in less than three years, which would put the “finale” of the saga near a 2027 release date. If that happens, it would be a great joy to gamers.
