Tekken 8 Closed Network Test 1280x720

Bandai Namco has revealed that it will be hosting a Tekken 8 Closed Network Test starting on July 21, 2023, for the PS5 and again on July 28, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

This CNT will be beefy as it will include five stages and every character that’s been revealed so far, meaning 16 playable characters, thanks to the recent reveal of Claudio. I’ve posted a complete list of the characters and stages below. If you’re interested in participating in this upcoming Tekken 8 Closed Network Test, sign up at this link. Keep in mind that not everyone who enters will be selected, and registration closes on June 27, 2023.

  • Jun
  • Paul
  • Law
  • King
  • Lars

  • Urban Square (Evening)

  • Rebel Hangar
  • Sanctum
  • Arena

Due to Tekken 8 Closed Alpha Test feedback, there has been an update to the Tekken 8 Heat System, and we’re sure that BN will be taking players’ feedback during the upcoming CNT. Based on what has been listed, the changes are likely to make the game even more aggressive and is something we talked about before.

Gameplay Changes

”Heat Energy” will be removed.
・The upper limit (heat activation time) of the “Heat Timer” will be changed depending on how the heat is activated.
・The “Heat Smash” command will be standardized for all playable characters.

For those looking to play the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test on PC, please be sure that your PC is up to the task by observing the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test PC requirements.
