It’s been a long, rough, and interesting eight years since CD Projekt Red first announced Cyberpunk 2077, and we’re now at the end of the wait. While Cyberpunk 2077 will be made available for most platforms this December 10th, 2020, it is currently available for pre-load.

Starting today, gamers across the globe will be able to pre-load the game on PlayStation and Xbox. While PC gamers will have to decide what service they’ll want to purchase the game on, which is never easy. Between Steam and the Epic Games Store, pre-loads will start at 9 PM PT / 11 AM ET, while GOG preloads have already gone live.

Full Pre-Load Times

  • PlayStation: Midnight local time on December 8, 2020
  • Xbox: Thursday, December 3 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET
  • PC (Steam and Epic Games Store): Monday, December 7 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET
  • PC (GOG): Monday, December 7 at 3 AM PT / 6 AM ET

For those who like to see the developers get as much money in their pockets as possible, GOG also has mentioned that 100% of Cyberpunk 2077 sales will go directly to CD Projekt Red, which makes sense since they also own GOG. You may also want to go the GOG route if you’re not a fan of DRM, which GOG doesn’t offer.

Planning on getting #Cyberpunk2077? Here's a small reminder: if you purchase it on @GOGcom, 100% of your money will go to the CD PROJEKT Group!

While PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia (yes, it’s coming to Stadia) don’t need to worry about if their PC is up to handling your adventure in the Night City, PC gamers will have to think about that. To help you, be sure to read our article on the minimum and recommended PC specs required to play Cyberpunk 2077. Where am I playing it on? Well, I was going to go with PC, but after hearing that both the PS5 and Xbox Series X can hit 60 FPS, I’m not so sure.

That’s not all. No matter where you purchase Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll be eligible for some sweet in-game bonuses. All you have to do is head over to GOG, sign-in on the platform of your choice, and you’ll be gifted the following;

Did you know that ALL copies of #Cyberpunk2077 come with a set of digital goodies? And if you connect your game to @GOGcom (no matter the platform you'll be playing on, thanks to the REDlauncher) – you can also get some in-game rewards!

I still can’t believe that we’ll be playing Cyberpunk 2077 by the end of this week after all this time. Definitely exciting times for fans of the game or genre, that’s for sure. Oh, and if you manage to get your hands on the game (we don’t care how), please don’t be that person and ruin the experience for everyone else.

We’ll see you in Night City on December 10th, 2020.
