Halo 3: ODST jumps onto the PC this September 22nd

By Keith MitchellSeptember 14, 2020

The Halo: Master Chief Collection PC has just taken one more step to be the definitive Halo PC experience, with 343 Industries announcing that Halo 3: ODST is arriving on the platform as of September 22nd, 2020.

It’s almost here!

Halo 3: ODST  is one of my favorite entries in the Halo series, as it doesn’t have anything to do with Master Chief or Spartans for that matter. Halo 3: ODST instead puts players in the role of an ODST, or Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, named Rookie. Who, alongside his team, who find themselves in the war-torn New Mombasa, right smack after the events of a certain Halo 2 mission.

No super abilities, no Spartans to back them up – just regular humans who are tasked doing the impossible. Then there’s the eerie and amazing soundtrack, composed by the one and only Martin O’Donnell. I can still recall the first time I loaded up the game on the Xbox 360.

I really can’t wait to dive back into this – I’ve been waiting for this to arrive on the PC.

Halo 3:ODST arrives on Windows 10 and Steam this September 22nd, 2020. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you’ll be able to download it as part of the service.
