Nintendo Entertainment Podcast – Episode 175 – Mario, Mario Everywhere

The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast is here, and no amount of lockdowns will stop these three of Nintendo attire from talking about all the news and experiences from the last week!

First up, the guys talk about their recent gaming runs! Tyler has been playing Dragon Quest 11 S, and he’s been loving the old-school RPG feel that it brings! Will meanwhile has been playing Fire Emblem Heroes as well as Nioh 2, and has interesting thoughts on both. Todd meanwhile has been playing a slew of titles, including finally beating Pokemon Shield, having mixed feelings about the Bravely Default 2 demo, and getting deep into Saints Row IV: Re-Elected!

Then, in the news, Nintendo might be planning a “Year of Mario” via a lot of remasters and deluxe versions. And maybe Paper Mario will be returning to form? Also, Death Battle is bringing Machamp to the series, and the guys talk Pokedex entries to describe the Pokemon! Add, game delays, Nijala gets an animated intro, Shantae V is coming in May, Animal Crossing is having an Easter Eggs, and more!

Finally, in the main event, with all the potential 3D Marios games (and Paper Mario) coming out all this year for Switch…is this a good thing? Is that much Mario a good thing for the market? And if not, what is the answer?

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!

Plus, vote in our poll question! Which Mario remaster are you most excited for?

Don’t forget that we want YOUR suggestions for opening themes for future episodes of the podcast! Send your NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, or Nintendo DS suggestions to us via Twitter!
