Looks like the Xbox One will get access to the Fallout 76 beta first. To this will be a timed-exclusive, for an undetermined amount of time. Which afterward the beta will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
The B.E.T.A. will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC (via Bethesda.net). Stay tuned for exact timing for each platform here and @Fallout on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please note that the B.E.T.A. for Xbox One will begin first, followed by other platforms.
Fantastic news for Xbox One owners, not so much for everyone else. As for me, I’ve expressed my dissatisfaction with this sort of behavior. The whole 3rd-party exclusive crap and what not. Hopefully, this means we’ll see some Xbox One X-enhancement love going on as well.
In order to get access to the beta, in fact, the only way to get access to the beta is to pre-order Fallout 76 for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I’ve got my copy pre-ordered, do you?
Fallout 76 was announced during Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference. The next chapter in the series, Fallout 76 tells the tale of first survivors of Fallout. Taking place prior to the other games, more than 20 years after the day the bombs dropped. Vault 76, one of the earliest bunkers and one that has been mentioned in previous Fallout games. You’ll be among the first to reshape history. In addition, the game will feature online co-op and an updated Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System; it’s real-time now. The game will also be 4x larger than Fallout 4.
Fallout 76 will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 18, 2018.
