Fire Emblem Warriors Gets “History Mode” And More!

By Todd BlackSeptember 5, 2017
Fire Emblem Warriors

There’s been a LOT of scrutinies over Fire Emblem Warriors lately, and much of it is…kind of deserved. And today will be no less divisive, as Sakura and Male Corrin were confirmed for the game, making the Fire Emblem Fates side of the roster truly MASSIVE compared to Awakening and Shadow Dragon. However, new details from the upcoming issue of Famitsu is set to change things.

First up, much like Fire Emblem itself, Warriors will have class changes, and even a skills page that can will allow up to 3 skills per warrior. What’s more, some of these skills will only be unlocked via bonding with other characters.

But, the big reveal is that Fire Emblem Warriors is going to have a “History Mode”, which will feature turn-based style battles that’ll “retell” the stories of Shadow Dragon, Awakening, and Fates. Though obviously, it’ll be MUCH shorter versions of them. But, we do know that Valider from Awakening will be an enemy character, so we could be seeing even MORE Fire Emblem characters than just the playable roster, lots of possibilities there.

What do you think? Does this give a major boost to Fire Emblem Warriors? Does it help make it a “must buy” for you? Let us know in the comments below!
