King Gnu Releases Full Animated Music Video for “SO BAD”

By Josh PiedraOctober 20, 2025

King Gnu has unveiled the official music video for their latest single “SO BAD,” released on September 5. The track was specially written as the theme song for Universal Studios Japan’s “ZOMBIE de DANCE,” part of the “Halloween Horror Nights” event. “SO BAD” showcases King Gnu’s signature mixture sound, now evolved into a ferocious and hedonistic anthem.

SO BAD

The music video, directed and conceptualized by OSRIN of PERIMETRON and produced by A-1 Pictures, marks King Gnu’s first-ever fully animated video. Featuring animated versions of all four band members, the video presents an original story by OSRIN, with fast-paced action scenes that highlight the unique personalities of each character.

Daiki Tsuneta (King Gnu) had this to say about the release:

“I’ve always loved animation, and since the early days of my career, I’ve created works using animated expression whenever possible. Now, one of my dreams has come true—King Gnu’s hand-drawn animation, brought to life by OSRIN and A-1 Pictures. I’m beyond grateful and thrilled—it’s simply the best.”
