Marvel Zombies Trailer Drops, Disney Plus Release Date Revealed

It’s been a while since I’ve been excited about anything Marvel or Disney related. But I’ll have you know—I loved Marvel’s What If…? series and was extremely frustrated when it ended. So, when Marvel and Disney randomly dropped a trailer for the upcoming *Marvel Zombies* series, not only did it make for a fantastic Tuesday, but it also gave me a reason to consider resubscribing to Disney Plus.

No kidding.

This trailer is packed with “oh’s and ah’s,” a slamming metal soundtrack, and exactly the kind of energy fans of *What If…?* and the Marvel Zombies comics have been waiting for. Seriously, whoever put this trailer together needs a raise. I’m pumped.

Check out the trailer below:

Survivors in a Dead MCU

In this new series, the Avengers, and most of the Marvel heroes and villians, are dead. What remains is a desperate group of survivors fighting to stay alive. Among them are Spider-Man, Black Panther (still missing his right leg), a Moon Knight version of Blade, Ms. Marvel, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, and surely more to be revealed throughout the series.

As a long-time fan of the comics, I’m eager to see just how far this animated series will go and whether it stays faithful to the dark, brutal spirit of Marvel Zombies.

Marvel Zombies begins streaming on Disney Plus on September 24, 2025.
