Leaker Claims Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth, and FF16 Set for Xbox Release, Starting This Spring

The leaker NateTheHate has recently gained attention again for accurately predicting things, such as the Nintendo Switch 2 trailer. Now, he has shared new rumors about Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Final Fantasy Rebirth, and Final Fantasy 16, saying that these games might be coming to Xbox with release dates that are somewhat clear.

There isn’t much solid information yet, but the details given are more clear than what was said before about these games on Xbox. However, since rumors about these titles have been going around for a long time without being confirmed, it’s best to take these claims with caution.

However, considering Square Enix’s new strategy of expanding to more platforms, including Xbox, it’s not unreasonable to believe that these games could indeed be coming.

According to NateTheHate, Final Fantasy 16 will be the first to arrive on Xbox, with the two parts of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake following months later.

The leaker revealed this information on the ResetEra forum, and while it’s still speculative, it’s possible that NateTheHate has some inside knowledge. Based on his claims, Final Fantasy 16 will likely be announced soon and is expected to release in spring 2025. Then, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is expected later in the same year, followed by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in 2026.

Lastly, NateTheHate mentioned that Final Fantasy 16 is not currently planned for the Nintendo Switch 2.
