2XKO Braum Gameplay And Breakdown Revealed

2XKO is heating up ahead of the Evo 2024 festivities in a couple of weeks, with Braum being the latest character revealed for the tag team fighter. Braum delivers slow but powerful blows with his shield, making each hit count. He can also execute counterattacks that defend against projectiles, with one move closing the gap significantly after the initial hit.

Braum features a Fatal Fury-inspired Power Geyser move, utilizing his Ice Shield to advance and explode on unsuspecting opponents, potentially stunning them after a certain point. True to his defensive style, Braum excels at holding the line and punishing aggressors. Riot Games has also provided an in-depth look at how to master Braum’s unique abilities.

Braum’s Unbreakable buff is activated by landing attacks and can be disrupted by heavy, armor-breaking moves, and Ultimates. His Stand Behind Me super move is particularly useful for summoning Purras, the little critters Braum cares for. These Purras can jump into the fight to assist, with one even wielding Braum’s hammer to strike enemies from above. They can also be used to beat down foes after Braum throws treats to them. Braum can even throw the Purras themselves, adding a unique twist to his fighting style. While Blanka’s adorable yet deadly summons in Street Fighter 6 are notable, Braum takes it to a whole new level. The Purras can be thrown with the annoyance of a taunt to stun opponents.

A build of 2XKO will be at Evo 2024, but the Alpha Lab will be available for a brief period this August 2024.
