Ed Boon Teases Mortal Kombat 1’s Homelander And More

By Kevin KellyApril 28, 2024

Mortal Kombat 1‘s Ed Boon had a special tweet for the fans a few days ago. We have received our render of The Boys’ Homelander within the battle of Outworld. Homelander is facing the new god, Liu Kang, in this pre-battle dialog. Homelander himself does not get his own line here.

We're very pleased with the reception players are giving Ermac and happy to remind everyone there is still a LOT more planned for #MortalKombat1

More: Klassic Kostumes, New Moves, Kameos, online features, secrets, and of course…. pic.twitter.com/7ZOOeSzpNE

We’re very pleased with the reception players are giving Ermac and happy to remind everyone there is still a LOT more planned for #MortalKombat1 More: Klassic Kostumes, New Moves, Kameos, online features, secrets, and of course….

Homelander is still set to appear in the next few months to follow Ermac’s appearance in the game. Takeda Takahashi is the final character to come from this round’s Kombat Pack, after Homelander, this summer.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
