Red vs Blue Restoration Gets Trailer and Release Date

By Todd BlackMarch 28, 2024
Red vs Blue Restoration

You ever wonder why we’re here? It was that iconic question that started off the saga of Red vs. Blue. A show that shouldn’t have been as big as it was, and yet, it became iconic. It took the Halo universe in a direction no one predicted and created an internet show that fans have been enjoying for over 20 years in various forms. Sadly, the announcement of Rooster Teeth shutting down made many wonder if the previously announced final chapter would actually air. Thankfully, Red vs Blue Restoration has not only been confirmed to be coming out, but it’s coming out as a feature-length film!

As we see in the teaser trailer below, the Meta is back, and that requires the Reds and Blues to come together one more time to try and save everyone…or die trying. The key thing to note here is that Red vs Blue Restoration is headed up by two of the men who helped found the entirety of the franchise, and Rooster Teeth! Burnie Burns is returning as Epsilon, and director Matt Hullum is guiding this final adventure.

It’ll release on various platforms on May 7th. And maybe, at last, we’ll finally know why we’re here.
