Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution Announced

By Scott AdamsMarch 22, 2023

Compile Hearts’ tease from a few days ago has now been answered with information from Famitsu surrounding their new game Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution. The information is from the newest magazine of Famitsu. It follows in the perspective of Adult Neptune as she is traveling through dimensions. She lands in a new dimension where she meets three developer goddesses who have failed at the Gamindustri war race due to their size of shares. The three goddesses ask Neptune to become their president and help them revive their company and shares. The game is set to release in Japan on August 10th, 2023.

Adult Neptune is a character introduced in Megadimension Neptunia VII that travels collecting insects from various dimensions in the Neptunia Universe. She travels based on the power of Croire who she traps inside her book as a means of traveling through dimensions. It will be interesting to see how her story evolves with this new game on the horizon.

The three new goddesses we got information about as well in the magazine of Famitsu.

Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution based on its screenshots seem to be using the same engine that was created for the Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters video game. We have a review of that game in case you are interested in how combat and movement is going to be used in this newest game.

Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution will be released in Japan August 10th, 2023 for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
