The 2023 Crunchyroll Expo Has Been Canceled

By Josh PiedraFebruary 13, 2023

Crunchyroll announced that they are canceling this year’s Crunchyroll Expo. Crunchyroll’s reasoning behind the cancelation stems from wanting to shift their focus to other conventions.

The event was originally scheduled to tape place from August 4 through August 6 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

The move comes as a surprise to many as this would have been the convention’s sixth year of operation. Two of those years were strictly online (2020, 2021) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of the time of this writing, there has been no word from Crunchyroll on whether or not the event will return in the future.
