Shazam Fury of the Gods Gets New Trailer

Shazam Fury of the Gods

It’s fair to say that the DC Comics universes aren’t what they used to be. We just got word that the HBO Max live-action universe is dying soon, and the DCEU won’t be far behind. With the new “DCU” headed up by James Gunn and Peter Safran, many are wondering what will become of the remaining DCEU movies that debut this year. The first of them is Shazam Fury of the Gods, and it has gotten a new trailer that puts a greater context on the threats Billy and his family will face.

In the trailer, the Daughters of Atlas are attempting to not only take over the world but take the powers that were “stolen from their father.” They’ll fight Billy and the others to do that, and it’ll push the family to their limits in more ways than one. If nothing else, the movie looks like it’ll have big action pieces and have intense moments. We’ll find out how it goes when Shazam Fury of the Gods arrives in March:
