Sonic Frontiers Gets Content Roadmap Revealed

Sonic Frontiers might have had a rocky start, but many gamers are enjoying it. Yesterday, a tweet went out that acted as a “roadmap” for the game going forward well into 2023. According to Sonic Team, it’ll be a set of three updates that’ll deliver a wide variety of content for players to try out. For example, in the first update you’ll get a jukebox to blast the game’s music on, a photo mode…because every major game has that now, and new challenge modes!

The second update will feature a special celebration for Sonic’s birthday, an “open zone challenge” and more Koco for you to use in the game! Finally, the third update will be the ones that fans have circled. Based on the tease, you’ll be able to play as Tails, Knuckles and Amy within the game, and a brand new story will feature their arrival as playable characters!

While we don’t have any release windows yet for these, it’s clear that SEGA wants Sonic Frontiers to be bolstered with content that players can enjoy for some time. Stay tuned for updates on this as time goes on, and be sure to read our review of the game!
