The Second Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test Will Take Place December 16-19

Street Fighter 6 - Closed Beta Test 2 Announce Trailer

Capcom has revealed that they’re hosting another Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test, which will take place from December 16th to the 19th, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam). It will feature cross-play between the three platforms; everyone is invited to sign up for this beta by going here. However, if you participated in the first Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta, you’re automatically in for the second one.

At this time, Capcom hasn’t revealed if the second test will include any new characters, but they did mention that the same modes included in the first beta will make a return in this beta. This includes Ranked matches, Casual matches, Battle Hub matches, Open tournaments, Extreme battles, Game center, and the Training mode.

As for playable characters, Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken, will be accessible. Stage-wise, you’ll be able to select from the following; Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, The Macho Ring, and the training room.

Capcom has also addressed several issues and bugs while adding a few things as well, so this experience should be a lot better than the first beta.

I had a chance to play the first Street Fighter 6 closed beta, and surprisingly, I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. The PC experience was pretty much flawless, and the matches were fun and exciting. I’m definitely looking forward to checking out the game during the second beta. And I’ll be making sure that my calendar is clear so I’ll have more time to play the beta this time around.

Street Fighter 6 is slated to be released sometime during 2023. However, Capcom hasn’t announced the actual reveal date.
