Jack Move Video Review – JRPG With Style

By Scott AdamsSeptember 20, 2022
Jack Move HypeTrain Digital So Romantic

Getselious (Matthew Paul) and Sithscott (Scott Adams) review the recently released RPG, Jack Move. It is a game that looks and sounds amazing.

We have a few gripes with the game, but we were able to get through it all right! Jack Move is a JRPG that features a unique blend of gritty cyberpunk storytelling, turn-based battles, and beautiful modern pixel art. Take on the role of Noa, a vigilante hacker who is thrust into a world of murder, kidnapping, and dark research after her father goes missing.

Check out our video review of Jack Move below.

Jack Move is available on PC right now.

Jack Move will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 20th, 2022.

Review Disclosure Statement: Jack Move was provided to us by HypeTrain Digital for review purposes. For more information on how we review video games and other media/technology, please review our Review Guideline/Scoring Policy for more info.

Summary

Jack Move has a lot of great mechanics and customization that ultimately doesn’t get utilized due to some poor balancing. The art design and music are fantastic and we hope to see more from this world.

Pros

  • Fun Characterizations
  • Great mechanics of customization
  • Art and Sound is spectacular

Cons

  • Balancing issues due to only being able to use Noa
  • Gets super easy to figure out ways to cheese some of the mechanics like the Jack Move ability.
