We got a surprise announcement today from Bandai Namco, Digimon Survive will be here next month!
We get to see the characters stuck unsure of where they need to go or why they are there. You get to have visual novel moments of making decisions and figuring out the mystery surrounding why the students are stuck in the digiworld. It seems to follow Takuma Momozuka and his classmates as you get Digimon and fight with them in a tactical based strategy RPG battle system. Your interactions with your classmates and the Digimon themselves will affect the route of the end to your story.
This game seems to have a lot going for it! I am excited for more Digimon Content! We get to see a large variety of digivolutions are available to the Digimon you receive as well as some of the turn based mechanics of the tactical fights. This looks to be a great game to keep your eyes on. I do feel like some might not like that it releases on the same day as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 but I hope to get time in on both games when I can!
Digimon Survive releases July 29th 2022 for PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
