Techland Provides A Look At Dying Light 2’s Skill Trees

By Keith MitchellJanuary 6, 2022
Dying Light 2 Skill Three

Today, Techland has released some new information on Dying Light 2 and is breaking down the skill trees in the game. According to Techland, the protagonist of Dying Ligh 2, Aiden Caldwell, will have access to two different skill trees. These skill trees will be familiar for those who’ve played Dying Light 1.

While performing specific in-game actions, players will earn experience points in one of two areas—parkour and combat. Traversal actions like climbing, jumping, or vaulting will be rewarded by progressing a parkour-centric experience bar. The more complex and skillful movements players perform, the more experience will be gained. Likewise, to earn combat-centric experience points, players should take the fight straight to enemies and perform combination attacks to net even more experience points.

Players will have access to Aiden’s combat abilities in one skill tree, while the other will dictate what parkour moves will be provided and expanded on. Both of which will ensure that players can customize their gameplay while trying to stay alive. Maximize your ability to move faster, higher, all while incorporating those moves into combat

We’re less than a month away from Dying Light 2 being released, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this game. It’s looking to be the worthy successor to the first game, and the combat/parkour is looking great.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches on February 4, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version).
