Heels Has Been Renewed At Starz For Season 2

By Todd BlackNovember 3, 2021
Heels

One could argue that the world of wrestling has never been more intriguing than it is right now. Or at the very least, it hasn’t been this big and good since the Monday Night Wars started well over 20 years ago. With WWE and AEW fighting for bragging rights, it’s only natural that a show came along to showcase another take on that world. Enter Heels on Starz. A tale of a local indie promotion ran by a family that doesn’t always see eye-to-eye.

Starring Stephen Amell from Arrow (and a diehard wrestling fan himself), the show delves into how a simple wrestling promotion can affect an entire community, the wrestlers in it, and more. And today, Amell announced that Heels Season 2 is a go!

That’s a huge deal not just for Starz, but for Amell, who admitted before getting cast in the show that he didn’t know if he’d do another series after Arrow. So it’s good to know he’s getting his chance to show his chops once again. Both literally and figuratively.

Season 1 is available in full to watch now.
