Doctor Who: The Edge Of Reality Reveals Gameplay

By Ryan EasbyOctober 13, 2021

New gameplay for Doctor Who: The Edge Of Reality has been revealed.

The game, developed by Maze Theory, is an expansion and adaptation of previously released VR title Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time. It features both current Doctor Jodie Whittaker and past Doctor David Tennant as you travel across the galaxy, facing off against a whole host of foes such as Daleks, Weeping Angels, Cybermen and more. The gameplay is the first hints at what the game is going to be, what seems to be an exploration based title in which it’s up to you to save the entire galaxy. Previously we’ve been shown what villains will feature in the game, along with the reveal of David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor, but now we actually know what the game will be like.

Maze Theory also recently released Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, an extremely fun mobile phone based game that tasks you with saving the entire planet from the scourge of the Weeping Angels, so I have high hopes for this game.

The game will release across all current generation and next generation consoles in addition to PC. It releases October 14th 2021.
