Macross Frontier: Toki no Meikyuu (Labyrinth of Time), the first new Macross Frontier movie in 10 years since Sayonara no Tsubasa in 2011, will be out in theaters this fall in Japan.

The movie’s theme song “Toki no Meikyuu” is a completely new song produced by Yoko Kanno. It will also be released as a CD single on November 10. This will be the first CD release in approximately 3 years since “Good job!” was released as part of the Macross Frontier 10th Anniversary Project in 2018. The coupling track will be another new song produced by Yoko Kanno and sung by Sheryl and Ranka.

The Meikyuu Collector’s edition will include a Blu-ray with footage of May’n and Megumi Nakajima performing “Lion” at Inu Fest (FlyingDog’s 10th anniversary festival) and the “Good job!” music video. The cover illustration will be drawn by Risa Ebata, the character designer of Macross Frontier.
