Arcade1Up officially announces its 4-player X-Men arcade machine

With E3 2021 in full swing, Arcade1Up, the company that has been bringing mini-arcade machines to your home, has officially announced the four-player X-Men arcade machine. This is the same machine that was first shown off during CES 2021, but no official info was provided. It took quite a bit longer for the arcade machine to be revealed, but I’m sure many of you, including myself, have been waiting for this arcade machine to be released. Pre-orders for the X-Men arcade machine will go live this July 15th, 2012

X-Men the Arcade game allows up to four players to choose between six iconic X-Men characters; Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Dazzler Colossus, and Nightcrawler, as they fight against the forces of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. This a time before Magneto was truly a villain and not how he’s portrayed now in current Marvel comic books. And while X-Men the arcade is the main game, the unit will also come complete with Captain America and The Avengers, and The Avengers in Galactic Storm. That’s two classic arcade games and one lesser-known fighting game.

The cabinet also features a lit-up marquee and a light-up deck protector, which is a major improvement from prior Arcade1Up cabinets. Worried about playing alone? Don’t be, as this unit also includes a WI-FI so you can play along with other players, even if they aren’t standing next to you. Take a look at the X-Men arcade machine below, and try not to drool too much.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I have fond memories of my parents taking me to the local arcade to play X-Men with my friends. That is when they existed. We’d spend countless hours playing the game and even more tokens. Getting our butts handed to us over and over, yet the magic never faded. I’m looking forward to recapturing some of that magic once this dream come true is released.
