Funimation Sets the Stage for Summer Season Preview Fan Event on June 18th

Kicking off a hot summer of new and returning series and specials, Funimation, the market leader in anime serving fans worldwide, is bringing fans a sultry live stream Summer Season preview. The free event will give anime fans a glance into what new series, movies, merchandise, music, and events are coming to Funimation for the Summer Season. Fans can expect surprise guests, never-before-seen clips, exclusive first looks, and an announcement that would even take All Might by surprise.

“We’re celebrating this anime seasonal lineup with a preview event to connect and serve more fans around the world,” said Colin Decker, CEO of Funimation Global Group. “Our virtual events enable everyone to belong to the global anime community, and we are proud to continue expanding the experience to wherever fans want us to be.”

The event will be live-streamed for fans in the United States and Canada and recorded for fans in other global territories. Hosted by content producer, anime expert, and fangirl Lauren Moore, the event will leave anime fans thrilled, engaged, excited, and asking for more. Fans can tune in on Friday, June 18, 2021, 7pm et to Funimation’s YouTube channel to join the fun. Fans in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand can check out the festivities the next day on June 19 on Funimation’s YouTube Channel.

The Summer Season Preview Event, in partnership with Xbox, will also give lucky fans a chance to win free prizes essential for anime marathon viewing.
