Deathloop Video Explains The Basics And Brings The Hype

By Keith MitchellMarch 1, 2021

In this newly released trailer for Arkane’s Deathloop, we’re giving a better understanding of what we can expect of the game.

Deathloop places the player into a never-ending cycle of death as he or she attempts to break the loop. However, things are rarely as easy as it sounds, and in Deathloop, you’ll have your hands busy with assassins who don’t want you to lose control of the power they possess. There’s the other assassin who has the same goal as you, including removing you from the board. The only way for you to win and break the loop is learning your craft and killing everyone within a day, or without dying. Remember how I said things are rarely easy?

However, a lot is going on here for you as well. Such as clever ways to take out your enemies, lots of unique weapons and powers, a color cast of individuals, and yes, death. Don’t worry if you die over and over because you’ll learn from your mistakes, and they’ll make you a better assassin. Or at least that’s the gameplan. This game looks to be a spiritual successor of Dishonored, another amazing game from Arkane and a favorite of mine.

Deathloop releases in May 2021, exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and on PC via Steam.
