The Medium releasing on December 10 for Xbox Series X|S and PC

By Poch SaldanaOctober 9, 2020

One of the most interesting titles to be first shown for Microsoft’s new pieces of hardware has finally received a release date. Bloober Team’s The Medium will start setting up some scares on December 10 of this year. You can find the release date trailer below.

Being developed by the team behind the acclaimed Observer and Layers of Fear, plus a soundtrack composed by the legendary Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill fame, The Medium just may be the premier Xbox title to get right after launch. That is unless you have Game Pass then you won’t have to dole out another $60 dollars as The Medium will be launching day one on the subscription service.

This won’t be Bloober Team’s only title releasing near the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Polish studio had recently announced that Observer would be getting a complete next-gen makeover with Observer System Redux that’s also releasing Holiday 2020.

With Bloober Team’s one-two punch and the Geiger-inspired Scorn coming in the future, horror fans should be more than satisfied with the beginning of this next generation of consoles.

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
