Update: While Ubisoft previously released their specs for Watch Dogs Legion, the company recently updated the requirements with Nvidia’s RTX 3080 and the unreleased RTX 3070 GPUs. Yes, those mystically beasts that most of us have only heard of, but not seen openly in the wild. Gone is any mention of the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, which the recent Nvidia RTX cards have replaced.
Original story below
We’re getting closer to the release of Ubisoft’s often delayed Watch Dogs: Legions, and as such the company has released the PC requirements for the title.
I’m sure many PC gamers have been watching and waiting o see when Ubisoft would drop this information. Especially since we’re in the middle of new GPUs from Nvidia dropping with its RTX 3000 series, while AMD has been teasing its upcoming GPUs as well. So everyone is wondering if their PC can handle Watch Dogs: Legion, and if, so how far can they push them. This information was released at an opportune time, or for some people’s worst, a bad time.
So what are we looking at, in terms of the specs? Well, a lot better than I originally thought it would be. Clearly, the extra development time for the title has yielded some optimizations, and I’m sure many will agree once they check out the specs. Speaking of the specs, take a look at the info below and the trailer up top if you haven’t already.

A couple of takeaways here is if you’re in the Nvidia camp, you’ll benefit from the inclusion of Ray Tracing and DLSS 2.0, which has been a game-changer o in terms of performance and quality. Especially if you’re looking to push the visual fidelity in a game, DLSS 2.0 will allow an RTX card to provide that quality and performance over a native resolution.
Watch Dogs: Legion will be released on October 29th for PC, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. Enhanced versions for the Xbox Series X/S will be released on November 10th, with the PS5 version launch date still in limbo.
