Dragon Quest Tact Could Be Heading West

By Josh PiedraAugust 19, 2020

In an interesting move, Square Enix filed for the trademark Dragon Quest Tact in both the United States and Europe. The Trademark was filed in the U.S. back on July 14 and in Europe back on July 7.

While no official announcements were made from Square Enix, this could very well mean that the mobile tactical RPG could be heading its way to iOS and Android devices here in the West at some point in the future. The game originally launched in Japan back on July 16.

The game is turn-based and allows the player to control monsters from the Dragon Quest series in tactical battles. Like most tactical RPGs, players will move the monsters through maps that are divided into squares.
