Guerrilla Games provides a deeper look at Horizon Forbidden West, Releasing in 2021

Earlier today, Guerrilla Games released a short video that highlights the world of Horizon Forbidden West. While the game was announced during the PlayStation 5 Livestream, we didn’t get much about the new world we’ll be exploring, but thanks to this new video they released, there’s quite a bit of information to digest.

First and foremost is that Guerrilla has stated that the game will have “virtually no loading screens”. This means that the studio is yet another who will be tapping into the PS5’s SSD.  Being told that when we travel from one area to another that loads will seldom happen if they do at all, is bonkers, and is one of those “I’ll believe it when I see it moments”. Horizon Forbidden West will stretch from the state of Utah to the Pacific Ocean, which is a nice chunk of the landmass. There will also be several underwater areas to explore. New wildlife will also be present, some of which weren’t seen in the first game

Check out the video for yourself.

Needless to say, Horizon Forbidden West is on my list of must-play PlayStation 5 games will it releases sometime in 2021. What do you think? We’d love to know what you think in the comments.
