NBC’s Peacock TV Teases ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reboot, ‘Psych 2’ & More Shows

Add another streaming service to the pile! NBCUniversal’s new streaming service Peacock TV is pulling out the big guns for its big announcement. From reboots of old nostalgic properties, new shows, and continuations of other beloved series, the platform is looking to bring in fans hungry for more content from their old favorites. And to share the hype, they released all their teasers on Twitter.

First up, we have a Saved by the Bell movie sequel with Slater as a gym teacher at Bayside High, and several members of the original cast:

Then we have a sequel to everyone’s favorite detective masquerading as a psychic and his best friend. That’s right, Psych 2: Lassie Come Home is a real thing:

There are a ton of other shows coming out as well. Remember Punky Brewster? Well, Soleil Moon Frye is back as a grown up version of character who is just as quirky as ever. AP Bio will be returning for the platform. There will also be an adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel Brave New World, Emmy Rossum and Martin Freeman star in a movie based on L.A. icon and billboard mystery Angelyne, a dark thriller called The Capture, and a David Schwimmer-led comedy called Intelligence. Peacock TV will even have its first animated show with Madagascar: A Little Wild.
