Need for Speed Heat launch trailer speeds onto the sccene

Need for Speed Heat is looking mighty fine

EA’s upcoming racing title, Need for Speed: Heat drops on November 8th, 2019 (or the 5th if you’re on Origin Premier). That’s just under two weeks away, and as such the company has released the launch trailer for the game.

In this trailer, we get to see some nice looking speed demons as they talk about how they run the trips. While the police are telling everyone who attempts to street race that they’re going to get caught. Honestly, I could care less about the story, just as long as I get to have some enjoyable police chases. As long those are in (and they are) then I’m set.

Check it out for yourself below.

In NFS: Heat, we’ll be able to create the ultimate streetcar by acquiring upgrades, putting our money where our mouths are. And of course, trading paint with the police who’d rather see you in jail than on the streets. There’s also a day & night cycling system in place, which is a breath of free air for the series.

Here’s to hoping that Heat finally brings back the Need for Speed that we’re all longing for. More specifically, a worthy follow-up to Need for Speed Underground 2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted. Two titles that many regards as the two best NFS games ever created. From everything I’ve heard and seen so far, maybe Need for Speed: Heat has what it takes to take the crown away from both of the mentioned games. We’ll find out early next week.

Need for Speed: Heat releases for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Origin) on Nov.8th. Or on Nov. 5th if you pick up the Deluxe Edition on Origin Access Premier.
